Carry out chemical synthesis and related experimental work to support production of high-purity oligonucleotides and polymers.

Operate at preparative and larger laboratory scales (hundreds of grams), ensuring reproducibility and batch consistency.

Apply techniques including standard and anhydrous chemistry, column chromatography, and analytical methods such as LC-MS, HPLC, or UV-Vis where relevant.

Follow detailed SOPs and work instructions with accuracy and attention to safety, quality, and documentation.

Support process optimisation, scale-up experiments, and troubleshooting under guidance from senior scientists.

Maintain well-organised laboratory and production areas in line with ISO 9001 and internal quality standards.
