Job Overview Hillingdon Talking Therapies is expanding to meet growing targets for completed treatments, recovery and waiting times. The service is looking to recruit an experienced clinician with substantial post-qualification experience who is also an experienced supervisor and line manager, have experience of performance and sickness management and have substantial service management experience. The postholder will additionally have responsibility for supporting the service by leading on data reporting, productivity and performance management to cover maternity leave and actively support delivery of new KPIs.Main duties of the job The postholder will work with the management team in devising a strategic plan to deliver additional KPIs. They will support the Clinical and Operational Lead, Deputy and other Leads to provide high quality psychological therapies with a service user focus, by prioritizing clinical work, support, compassionate leadership and staff development.As the management team is currently reduced owing to maternity leave, the postholder will initially hold a number of areas of responsibility to cover gaps in management. These include data and performance management, policy-informed line management guidance for staff and managers and support a service focus on wellbeing without sacrificing productivity.The post is 0.8wte which includes a day of duty cover, supervision, holding a clinical caseload and taking a range of responsibilities for areas of service provision.Working for our organisation Hillingdon is a large borough in west London with a diverse and growing local population. Counselling Psychology (or equivalent - masters level plus completed post qualification training).HCPC registration, as a practitioner psychologist (Clinical / Counselling Psychologist) Or: Post-qualification training in Cognitive Behavioural Treatment (CBT) Applicant must be fully accredited with the BABCP Or: Accredited High Intensity Counsellor or Psychotherapist on the Accredited Counsellor register of the Professional Standards Authority AND Accredited in an IAPT modality CfD, DIT, Couple Therapy for Depression, BCT or IPT.Desirable criteria Completed IAPT training as a
