We are a rapidly growing startup with a bold plan for the rapid rollout of multi-gigabit full-fibre broadband networks and services to communities across the UK.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Application Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications.Working closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams you will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to play a big part in our transformation plans.Duties and responsibilitiesDesign and implement backend services and integrations using Python and modern frameworks.Build and maintain frontend applications using PHP, JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Angular or Vue.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical development issues, providing timely and effective solutions.Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical development documentation, including user guides, system documentation, and design specifications.Conduct regular code reviews to maintain code quality, performance and adherence to coding standards.Work closely with other engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and development process.Suggest and implement improvements to the development process, ensuring efficiency and quality in application delivery.Working closely with the wider Technology team to align system direction and deliver improvements.Helping shape technical decisions and taking part in solution design discussions.Qualifications and ExperienceA developer with a proven track record in supporting successful development projects, involved in the full development, Applications Change Specialist London Bridge Up to £66,000 Would you like to join Hyde as an Applications Change Specialist?
