Job description
You will be working within the Land-GBAD programme, a vital initiative delivering layered, digitally connected air defence systems into the 2030s. The programme focuses on evolving sensors, command, and control systems, and counter-unmanned threats like small UAS and loitering munitions. Your contribution will help enhance legacy capabilities while integrating new, Windows-centric systems, ensuring operational effectiveness and resilience., * Lead Systems and Vehicle Integration efforts, developing and implementing integration strategies, planning, ICDs, and test procedures.
- Manage component system requirements, demonstrations, and trials, ensuring interoperability and seamless integration across platforms.
- Produce, review, and manage GEAR artifactssupporting review processes to confirm engineering integrity and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, ensuring technical requirements are met effectively and efficiently, particularly within complex Systems of Systems frameworks., About The Role Engineered to protect. Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in managing technical requirements and ensuring system integration and interoperability.
- Familiarity with GEAR processes, artefact production, and review management.
- Defence project background, preferably with Cat A experience, and familiarity working with DE&S and Army interfaces.
Desirable:
- Experience in complex defence projects, particularly within the land environment.
- Knowledge of the broader strategic programme dependencies, such as the BOXER Pipeline or LE TacCIS.
- Exposure to innovative weapon systems, including directed energy technologies, would be a bonus.
