Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Support Officer who is interested in working in a fast-paced role within our Business Support Team.

You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective administrative support service to several operational teams within the organisation, whose administrative functions have been assigned to Business Support. These teams will include Environmental Services, Housing, Planning and Regulatory Services and Corporate and Customer Services.

The key skills you will demonstrate within this role are:

  • Inputting and extracting data using a range of management information systems, to support with the processing of purchase orders/invoices and working to strict timescales, to ensure that the work is completed in a timely manner. This will also include collating data to support with performance management.
  • To respond to telephone, written enquiries and electronically delivered queries ensuring that the appropriate information and advice is provided.

Requirements

  • You will need excellent ICT skills, including the ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook and other ICT packages as required.
