Job description

Immix is a single solution for physical security and we're looking for a talented Technical Specialist to join our growing Technical Operations team. Someone who is enthusiastic, skilled in intricate troubleshooting and integration design, can learn and adapt is welcome to join our relaxed and friendly global team.

The product is often non-standard and our specialist operations engineers in the team need to have close working relationships with the customer, development and sales teams in order to successfully deliver the solution. We manage this by embracing a DevOps mentality and maintaining customer specific teams. Account management and customer communication will be key to ensuring the successful delivery of projects and ensuring we maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.

The primary responsibilities for this role is to help manage, deliver and execute the rollout of new software integrations, integration features, offer professional services and consultation, and manage technical integration-based escalations. (On-prem -> Hardware, On-prem -> Cloud, Cloud -> Cloud)

As a successful candidate your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Designing integration solutions.
  • Working DevOps Agile to assist in the Development, UAT and functional validation of integration solutions and enhancements.
  • Managing integration projects to ensure goals and customer expectations are met.
  • Devise new and maintain existing documentation.
  • Setup new Access Control and CCTV/Event based systems for internal validation and discovery.

Candidates are expected to be available for travel to other Immix offices, partners or customers, though this role is primarily a Remote Working position. Any requirements to travel will be organised ahead of time.

Requirements

  • Identification, investigation, resolution, root cause analysis, and replication of integration issues
  • Experience with Access Control systems and security products such as IP cameras, NVRs, CCTV and VMSs.
  • Deadline and goal driven 'project management' through Agile DevOps methodologies
  • Meticulous attention to detail (History in manual testing/QA)
  • Ability to research and design suitable software integration frameworks
  • IP Network knowledge & troubleshooting
  • Scaled Windows Server Environments
  • Knowledge or experience with .NET, ASP, NetCore, IIS software
  • Confident, Professional & Clear in verbal and written Communication
