DevOps Engineer - Halle (Saale)

Your tasks are, but are not limited to, supporting the development team in building a fast and reliable CI/CD pipeline. Experience in software development using JavaScript and/or Node.Js is a plus but not a must. Our client specializes in the technical implementation of video content. This includes streaming live TV and video-on-demand solutions. • Improve our client's systems-landscape by simplification and automatization
• Work together with our operations and the engineering team to understand and improve processes and systems (e.g. security, scalability, availability) and increase customer satisfaction
• Take part in the application architecture and design process and have a large effect on the quality goals of the software
• Support the team in analyzing issues on the production and staging system and providing post mortem analysis
• Establish and maintain the documentation (e.g. emergency and operation manual)

• 2-3 years of experience as administrator or DevOps-Engineer (Linux, Kubernetes or Docker)
• Experience in designing, developing and operating B2B Software Products
• Knowledge in the field of "Infrastructure as Code" (preferably Terraform)
• Ability to setup and maintain a deploy pipeline
• Knowledge of the mayor IT compliance goals (e.g. SLA, Security)
• Fluent English language skills both written and verbal is required
