With a plan to substantially grow the engineering function this year we are starting off as we mean to go on with the expansion into Leeds (City Centre) offices and three new hires into an already successful and now multi site software engineering function.

You will jump straight into the product mix developing solutions around predictive analysis and other data science initiatives, developing systems to allow organisations to integrate better (system integration, system design) and a frontend refresh across the product suite modernising the UI.

The company are at an interesting point where the core product has had and continues to have great success, and there's an appetite in the company to focus heavily on technically pioneering projects to provide value for customers and broaden the gap to competitors. This is a rare opportunity for someone to be tackling these projects without the bureaucracy of larger organisations.

• Be passionate about technology, the web, and solving problems
• Have experience developing web applications with Ruby on Rails or alternative MVC based framework development platforms Laravel, PHP, Python (Django), C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Spring boot, Spring MVC, Express.js etc
• Understand and have experience with agile software development practices
• Have a desire to build exceptional products
• The key thing is to be able to demonstrate an aptitude for system design and engineering, and crucially, have a desire (at least not any kind of aversion) to work with Ruby and potentially Vue.js/React/whichever frontend tech the company moves to as advancements prevail.
