Job description
Purpose: To support the design, development and delivery of the Product Roadmap in conjunction with sales, operations, technology and senior management within Agile/SCRUM and PRINCE2 methodologies.
Stakeholder & Technical Management
-
Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders and the Product and Innovation Manager to create technical specifications (both functional and non-functional) as required for new software and updating existing software.

Use tools as appropriate to create representations for requested changes of user interface or underlying product behaviour

Define all technical implementation aspects of feature delivery, contributing to coding & style guide standards as required and ensuring at all times that implementation adheres to the strategic guidance set by the Chief Technology Officer

Communicate all concepts and guidelines effectively

Ensure development progress adheres to initial design

Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers if required

Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
Client Engagement
Supports Product & Innovation Manager and the sales teams during client demonstrations where in depth technical discussion is required.
Requirements

Proven experience as software architect
-
Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.)

Excellent knowledge of software application design and architecture

Excellent knowledge modelling methods

Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design

Understanding of software quality assurance principles

A technical mind set with great attention to detail

High quality organisational and leadership skills

Outstanding communication and presentation abilities with the ability to communicate at all levels, technical and non-technical
