Are you looking for an opportunity in Digital Workplace and want to be a pioneer in shaping new ways of working? We are seeking for a Modern Workplace System Engineer with focus on developing and supportingmanaged Microsoft Windows 10/11-based workplaces.
In your role you will:
- Support the agile Endpoints team and Digital Workplace with your expert knowledge in desktop management, particularly inhighly secure environments.
- Develop and integrate new features, products and services.
- Plan, design and implement the endpoint management architecture.
- Support the automation around managing secure environments.
- Support the team with knowledge of endpoint security aspects.
- Act as level 4 troubleshooting/support for the team (no on-call duty) .
- Contribute to Swiss Re's Healthy and transparent risk culture where everyone engages in continuous risk accountability activities.

Requirements
- Extensive (3+ years) experience with managing configuration of Windows desktops in a secure environment
- University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering or related field
- Expertise in networking and operating systems
- High-level skills in problem solving and troubleshooting
- Interested in solving problems in an automated/scripted way
- Good understanding of security principles with a focus on endpoint security
- Efficiently, you have some fundamental understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Azure AD,and Microsoft 365 app integrations
Professional Experience:
- Extensive (3+ years) hands-on experience with managing secure Windows client devices
- Experience with scripting deployments and/or configuration on Windows using PowerShell, Group Policies & MS EndpointManager (Configuration Manager and/or Intune)
- You have expert (5+ years) experience with operating systems (Windows)
- Optimally, you have work-experience with virtualized desktop environments using Citrix technologies
Benefits & conditions
For Spain, the base salary range for this position is between EUR 42,000 and EUR 70,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
- the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
- the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialization, skills and experience.
In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus
