Job description

Yokogawa RAP Limited is offering an exciting opportunity for a highly competent Software Deployment Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the Installation and maintenance of Azure and VM-based .NET applications. In addition, the role will be involved in preparing, validating, and deploying client data and technical configurations required to deliver successful system rollouts. At Yokogawa RAP, we specialise in Control of Work solutions across a wide range of sectors, serving clients in very high to medium-risk industries. This role operates as a dedicated technical stream within the implementation function, ensuring that system instances, integration setup, and environment releases are executed accurately and consistently., Environment & Release Management

  • Deploy system releases to Test and Production environments (VMs / Azure)
  • Manage controlled routine updates of instances
  • Own deployment execution within agreed release cycles
  • Apply security updates and support 3rd party penetration testing

Data Preparation & Validation

  • Import, validate, and manage master data within SQL databases
  • Clean, transform, and map client-provided datasets
  • Challenge incomplete or poor-quality data submissions
  • Ensure data structures align with system design standards

Integration Configuration

  • Configure system APIs for client integrations
  • Validate and test API connections (client-side and internal)
  • Troubleshoot integration issues during deployment
  • Ensure integration readiness prior to go-live

Client & Delivery Engagement

  • Participate in client workshops where data and integrations are in scope
  • Lead deployment and integration-focused calls
  • Provide technical clarity on data requirements and constraints

Governance & Quality Control

  • Act as gatekeeper for deployment readiness
  • Ensure repeatable deployment standards are followed
  • Reduce implementation defects linked to data or release issues
  • Proactively identify risks to deployment stability
  • Monitor system performance and take proactive steps to address anticipated issues

Requirements

  • SQL capability
  • .Net Understanding
  • Data transformation and CSV manipulation experience
  • Data mapping and schema validation
  • API configuration and validation experience
  • Experience deploying to Azure and VM environments
  • Scripting capability (PowerShell / Python or similar preferred)
  • Understanding of enterprise integration principles
  • Ability to push back constructively on incomplete inputs

  • Standard working hours are 37 hours per week Monday to Friday. Flexible hours available between 7:30am and 6:30pm. Core hours are 10:30am - 3:30pm
