Job description
- Inspect and test mansafe systems, ladders, guardrails and handrails
- Produce clear inspection reports and identify defects
- carry out remedial works
- Work at height using appropriate access methods (MEWP, ladders, rope access where applicable)
- Ensure all works are completed in line with safety and compliance standards
- Work on both planned and reactive maintenance contracts
Requirements
- Experience with mansafe systems, fall protection or access systems
- Background in inspection and/or installation at height
- CSCS card (minimum)
- IPAF and/or PASMA preferred
- Strong understanding of working at height regulations
- Ability to work independently and produce reports
- PTS Bonus
Desirable but not essential:
- IRATA (rope access)
- Experience working on rail or London Underground projects
Benefits & conditions
£35,000-40,000+ depending on experience, supervisory role will be paid at the higher end, plus overtime and progression opportunities.
