BI Developer

We're looking for experienced Business Intelligence Developers to for upcoming analytics and insights roles. These will be hands-on positions at all levels where you'll design, build and maintain the data visualisation and reporting infrastructure that empowers business stakeholders to make informed decisions at pace., * Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports and self-service analytics platforms using industry-standard BI tools

• Write efficient SQL queries to extract, transform and validate data from relational and cloud-based data warehouses
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders and data engineers to translate analytics requirements into technical specifications
• Build and maintain logical and physical data models that support reporting and analytics use cases
• Optimise dashboard performance, query execution and data refresh cycles to ensure responsive user experiences
• Document technical specifications, data lineage and BI assets to support knowledge sharing and sustainability
• Support stakeholders in adopting BI tools and analytics capabilities, providing training and guidance on self-service analytics
• Stay current with BI platform capabilities, emerging data visualisation techniques and analytical best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve BI-related issues, performance bottlenecks and data quality concerns

• Proven hands-on experience developing BI solutions using modern visualisation platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or equivalent)
• Strong SQL proficiency with ability to write performant queries against relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) or cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Solid understanding of dimensional modelling, data structures and database design principles
• Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and data preparation pipelines
• Familiarity with version control and collaborative development practices

Experience Level:

• Minimum 2-3 years of BI development experience (or equivalent demonstrable capability)
• Background in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting or data engineering roles
• Portfolio or examples of BI solutions and dashboards you've developed
