Fullstack Software Engineer - Angular + Java - Pharma Project

Join our expert team to contribute to a platform in the pharmaceutical sector, helping to build reliable and scalable solutions in a highly regulated environment.

This role goes beyond a traditional frontend position. While you will leverage your experience in Angular and modern web technologies to design high-quality and maintainable UI solutions, the current focus of the project is broader. You will have the opportunity to work across the stack, contributing not only to the frontend (around 25% of the workload) but also exploring backend, DevOps, cloud and quality practices depending on your interests and growth goals.

On the backend side, you will collaborate with services built in Java 21 and Spring Boot, gaining exposure or further developing your skills in backend development. You will also have the chance to get involved in areas such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), cloud environments (AWS), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and QA automation using tools like Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.

How do we make this happen?

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

Our working model

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor's appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other's faces; the best stories always happen in the office!

• Strong experience with Angular, including component architecture, services, dependency injection and RxJS
• Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Interest or experience in backend development (Java, Spring Boot)
• Motivation to grow into a fullstack or cross-functional role
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress or similar)
• Interest or exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices and cloud environments
• Strong focus on code quality, testing and performance

You will design and develop Angular applications based on user stories, ensuring clean, maintainable and well-tested code. In parallel, you will collaborate with backend services and gradually contribute to other areas of the stack depending on project needs and your interests.
