Job description
As a Front-End Website Developer at 501 Entertainment who you will be responsible for delivering excellent user experiences, utilising your solid knowledge of SEO best practices and front-end design/development skills. You will work closely with product, marketing, and development teams to design, prototype, and refine user interfaces (web pages, landing pages, event microsites) that are visually appealing, performant, accessible, localised and SEO-optimised.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain lead capture flows, forms, and user journeys
- Design elegant user interfaces, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for websites, landing pages, modules, and microsites.
- Ensure all pages and components are SEO-friendly (structure, metadata, schema/structured data, internal linking, performance).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Content, Development, Product) to align design goals to business objectives.
- Implement and manage marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
- Integrate CRM systems with web platforms to ensure seamless data flow
- Configure Google Tag Manager (GTM) for event tracking, triggers, and custom tags
- Set up enhanced conversions and server-side tracking where applicable
- Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Monitor and optimise page speed, accessibility (WCAG), mobile responsiveness, and overall performance.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, A/B testing, and iterate designs based on insights and analytics.
- Stay up to date on design, UX, SEO, and front-end development trends and best practices; share recommendations with the team.
- Provide design consultation and UX input during strategy and planning phases.
Requirements
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (and common libraries/frameworks as relevant).
- Solid understanding of SEO principles (on-page SEO, meta tags, structured data, crawlability, page speed).
- Familiarity with performance optimisation, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive best practices.
- Proficiency with prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.).
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Google Analytics).
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting design decisions to stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with a user-first mindset.
Desirable Additional Skills:
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS (landing pages, modules, smart content).
- Experience with HubSpot APIs and custom coding within HubSpot modules.
- Knowledge of CRO (conversion rate optimisation) strategies.
- Experience in SaaS/MarTech/B2B environments.
- Understanding of back-end systems/content architecture.
- Motion graphics/animation/After Effects skills.
