Job description
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Support Technician to provide first-line technical support to end users. This role is responsible for maintaining desktop systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations., * Provide 1st line support for hardware, software, and user issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems running Microsoft Windows
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults
- Support email systems (client and basic server-side tasks)
- Perform system builds, imaging, and software deployments
- Manage antivirus systems and endpoint security
- Troubleshoot printers, including configuration and connectivity
- Assist with basic network issues (Wi-Fi, cabling, IP addressing)
- Maintain accurate documentation and ticket updates
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, cabling)
- Experience with PC hardware support and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with patch management tools (e.g. Action1, WPKG)
- Good understanding of common business software
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Basic knowledge of Linux systems
- Familiarity with PowerShell or scripting

Benefits & conditions
- £31,000 - £36,000 depending on experience.
- £30k-£36k Pro rata for 40 hours/week
