Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our software products through rigorous testing methodologies. This role requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with various testing frameworks and tools. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions., * Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for functional, system, regression, and performance testing.

Game Testing

  • Test gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, graphics, and performance.
  • Identify bugs such as glitches, crashes, and frame rate issues.
  • Perform cross-platform and multiplayer testing.
  • Provide feedback on user experience and gameplay quality.

Requirements

  • Programming: Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript
  • Automation: Selenium, TestNG, JUnit
  • Tools: Jenkins, Jira, GitHub/GitLab
  • Databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server
  • APIs: REST/SOAP
  • Performance testing: JMeter / LoadRunner
  • Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine (preferred)
  • Experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies
  • Perform root cause analysis and report defects using tools like Jira.
  • Implement test automation using Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
  • Collaborate in a DevOps environment, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Conduct UAT, functional, and regression testing to ensure software quality.
  • Support release management and deployments.
