Job description
Docusign is looking for an amazing Software Engineer to join our development team. This position is part of the Docusign Identity team which provides digital signer identification and authentication through enhanced methods. It will demand critical thinking skills, ability to quickly understand existing systems and the ability to work in agile environments. In this role you will be putting your skills to work across the stack to deliver user-facing products. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering.
Responsibility

- Fix production issues and maintain the code as needed
- Participate in an Agile environment using Scrum software development practices, Automated unit testing, Code reviews, Version control systems, Automated build processes
- Write and ship modular, secure, and scalable code
- Test your code at all levels and ensure its quality before shipping
- Solve technical problems, bugs, and customer support issues
- Raise issues/opportunities for improvement early and often
- Work with Product Management and other developers to understand and translate marketing requirements into design requirements and provide estimates for development
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Requirements
- BA/BS degree in CS, EE or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in in Software development
- Experience with building user interfaces using modern front end technologies, such as React, Vue, and Angular
- Experience with consuming and building RESTful web-services.
- Experience with full stack development, preferably in one or more of OO programming languages like C# or Java
- Experience in agile and test-driven development methodologies
Preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the willingness and ability to rapidly learn new technologies and tool sets
- Experience with distributed systems
- Ability to move across technology stacks fluently
- Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems
- Previous experience with Authentication protocol like SAML, OAuth, OIDC
- Passion for UI; Good sense of usability and design
