Job description

Your experience will be required in the design and implementations of network solutions, firewalls, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and backup solutions, as well as assisting in setting up maintenance schedules using a Remote Monitoring and Management solution.

Your role will be provide IT support to external clients. This will range from supporting end-users, re-setting user accounts and general Windows and Mac troubleshooting, repairing computer hardware and software to server administration and Active Directory, Azure, Exchange, Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Network administration and management also essential.

Typical daily support tasks would include, but not limited to:

  • Taking support calls
  • Manging Helpdesk tickets with Autotask
  • Onsite & remote support
  • Windows and Mac setup of new hardware for users
  • Daily system checks, such as Backups and System status
  • Working on ongoing projects

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned support engineer with at least 4 years' experience in a MSP environment to join our dynamic team based in Surrey., * 4+ years' experience in a customer-facing IT role within an MSP environment

  • Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems
  • Active Directory
  • Networking / TCP IP / DSL Setup
  • Google Workspace Administration
  • Microsoft 365 Administration (Essential)
  • Experience in a technical support role, ideally second line / customer-facing
  • Experience in communications and interfacing peripherals to computer hardware
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken, written and strong maths skills
  • Proven ability to learn about new products and services quickly
  • Able to demonstrate analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, technical reports leveraging Autotask
  • Proven team player
  • Full driving license and own car

Candidates should be self-motivated and have the ability to adapt and resolve support incidents efficiently. Work as a team member and have excellent and personable communication skills and attention to detail., * A-Level or equivalent (required), * Microsoft Exchange: 3 years (required)

Competitive Salary of £30,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
