Job description

Lead end-to-end data architecture across client engagements
Design modern data platforms using Lakehouse and Medallion architectures
Translate business needs into scalable, secure solutions
Architect Azure-based data platforms (Databricks, ADF, Fabric, Purview)
Define data standards, governance, and best practices
Ensure data platforms are designed in line with GDPR and data protection

requirements, including anonymisation, access control, and secure data handling

Design batch, near real-time, and real-time analytics solutions
Enable BI, AI, and advanced analytics use cases
Support pre-sales, solution design, and client proposals
Mentor engineers and analysts within the practice

Requirements

An experienced Data Architect who can confidently lead client engagements, design scalable data platforms, and align technical solutions with business outcomes., * Extensive experience in Data Architecture & Solution Design

Strong expertise in Azure (Databricks, Data Factory, Fabric, Purview)
Experience designing enterprise data platforms and warehouses
Strong knowledge of data modelling (Kimball, Snowflake, Data Vault 2.0, SCD)
Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and real-time data processing
Strong Power BI, SQL, and analytics experience
Proficiency in Python and T-SQL
Proven client-facing and stakeholder management experience
Strong understanding of data governance and GDPR principles within data architecture
