Job description
As the UK CFD Technical Support Manager, you will report directly to the UK Technical and Sales Directors. Your responsibility will span the full lifecycle of customer engagement - from pre-sales demonstrations to post-sales support, training, and technical consultancy. You will play a key role in supporting regional distributors and contributing to technical marketing through conference presentations and published papers.
This role is central to training and mentoring a newly formed engineering team, requiring deep expertise in Simerics-MP+ and simulation workflows., * Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support for Simerics-MP+ users across the UK.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentoring to new engineering team members.
- Support regional distributors with technical enablement and collaboration.
- Contribute to technical marketing through conference papers and presentations.
- Create customized demonstration models and develop best-practice methodologies.
- Perform code customization using Simerics Expression Language and Python.
- Travel as needed to support customers and events.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Simerics-MP+.
- Strong CFD technical background with customer-facing problem-solving skills.
- Masters degree or PHD in a related engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in scripting and model customization (Simerics Expression Language + Python).
- Excellent communication skills, including technical writing for conference papers.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
