Senior Full Stack Engineer | AI Pentesting

Join a talented squad of four engineers led by a Tech Lead. At Escape, "Senior" means you drive technical decisions and guide our direction. Here's what you'll do, * Build at Enterprise Scale: Deliver a robust product handling tens of thousands of assets, millions of findings, complex search, and real-time data refresh-all while ensuring top-tier performance.

• Tackle Tough Data Challenges: Optimize PostgreSQL performance, craft efficient queries, design indexes, manage pagination, and implement effective caching. Our platform is intensely data-driven and demands low latency. This goes far beyond standard CRUD.
• Engineer AI-Native Workflows: Develop seamless, intelligent processes-like guided triage, assisted remediation, and extracting insights from noisy scan data. AI is truly integrated into our product, not an afterthought.
• Own the Full Delivery Loop: From vulnerability ingestion to triage and remediation, you influence every step. This includes risk scoring, developer integrations (CI/CD, Git, ticketing)the entire risk management workflow.
• Shape Our Architecture: Be hands-on with data modeling, system design, and GraphQL schema development. You'll decide how we build, not just what to build.

Our Tech Stack

• Frontend: Svelte + TypeScript, GraphQL client
• Backend: Node.js, GraphQL (Yoga + Pothos), Prisma, PostgreSQL, Kafka
• Infra: AWS, GitLab CI, Grafana
• Deep Tech: Python (AI/ML), Go (network tooling)

• 5+ years of experience developing production web apps, with strong expertise across both frontend and backend
• Deep TypeScript knowledge: You utilize the type system to its full potential
• Proven experience designing (not just consuming) GraphQL schemas
• Strong ownership: You proactively fix problems as soon as you spot them
• Excellent communicator: Able to explain technical tradeoffs to non-engineering stakeholders
