The Helpdesk Support Technician plays a vital role in providing IT support to business partners enabling the company to achieve its goals. You will be looked upon to provide solutions to technology challenges as well as educate end users on utilizing available tools to perform their tasks more efficiently.
What to expect:
- IT Helpdesk ticket response and closure
- PC / Laptop / Printers / Telephone System / Business Applications Hardware and Software installation, upgrades / replacements, troubleshooting
- Technical advice and guidance for Hologic employees
- Computer imaging and troubleshooting
- Work directly with vendors on installations, upgrades, preventive maintenance
Requirements
- Windows 10 /11 experience
- Microsoft Office / Office 365
- Laptop and printer hardware knowledge
- Mobile Device support experience (Apple iOS preferred)
- Knowledge of desktop support tools
- Knowledge of networking principles and troubleshooting client Wi-Fi issues
- Ability to triage, troubleshoot, and resolve PC/Network problems quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills, telephone support skills, and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- ServiceNow experience is desirable but not essential
