Senior Data Engineer - AWS - Pharma

Join our expert team to work on an Analytics platform, contributing to the development of reusable, cloud-native data pipeline blueprints for ingestion and transformation. You will apply your knowledge of AWS, Snowflake and dbt to build deployable production-grade data solutions. Pipelines and transformations are implemented as code and designed to be reusable across multiple environments.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

• Strong experience developing data ingestion and ETL pipelines on AWS using Glue Lambda S3 Step Functions and Airflow.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills with hands-on PySpark development for large-scale transformations.
• Proven experience with data modeling and transformations using Snowflake and dbt.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using AWS CDK or CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild.
• Ability to design reusable pipeline blueprints deployable across environments and to engage with technical teams and business stakeholders.

You will design and build end-to-end data ingestion and transformation pipelines on AWS using Glue PySpark Lambda and S3, model and optimise analytical schemas in Snowflake with dbt, deliver reusable blueprints via Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, and ensure observability performance and reliability while working closely with technical leads and business stakeholders to own delivery and drive continuous improvement.

Our working model

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor's appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other's faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
