Senior Fullstack .Net Engineer for AI-driven data automation platform

SSA Group is looking for a Senior Fullstack .NET engineer to join our team to work on an AI-driven data automation platform for the oil and gas industry.

Client is a software company based in Canada and specializing in data management, measurement, and automation solutions for the oil and gas industry. The company helps energy companies collect, validate, and analyze operational and production data, improving accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across the value chain-from field operations to financial reporting.

The solution leverages AI-driven automation to collect, validate, and process production data from multiple sources (e.g., SCADA systems, spreadsheets, APIs), eliminating manual data entry and reducing errors. It provides real-time data validation, anomaly detection, and automated reporting, enabling teams to finalize volume calculations and production statements faster and with higher accuracy.

• Backend: .NET 8/C#
• Frontend: React, Redux, TypeScript
• Database: MS SQL Server
• Cloud: Azure
• PM Tool: Azure DevOps, * Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#/.NET and React
• Develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases, including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and operational requirements into robust technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews and uphold coding standards
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and DevOps practices
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality

• 6+ years of professional software development experience
• Solid experience with C# and the .NET framework (Core or Framework)
• Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including query optimization and data modeling
• Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end features in a production environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
• Communication and collaboration skills in English (written and verbal)

Will Be a Plus

• Experience in the oil and gas industry or other regulated, asset-intensive sectors
• Familiarity with Claude Code or similar AI-assisted development environments
• Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms
• Experience with RESTful API design and integration patterns
