Job description

We are looking for a Laravel Developer to join our Liverpool-based team, working closely with our senior developer, system architect, and wider team.

You will be supporting and developing core systems used across internal and partner platforms, including our primary software environment.

This role is focused on keeping live systems running smoothly while contributing to ongoing development and new features.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Claims workflow systems
  • Client communication platforms (SMS, email, WhatsApp, telephony)
  • Internal CRM and case management tools
  • API integrations and third-party services (including Twilio)
  • Automation and process-driven systems
  • Supporting rollout of new features, including AI-driven functionality

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve existing Laravel applications
  • Handle day-to-day system support and bug fixes
  • Build and deploy small to medium features
  • Work alongside senior developers to implement new functionality
  • Support integrations and ensure system reliability
  • Write clean, maintainable code within an existing architecture

Requirements

Do you have experience in PHP?, * 2-4 years experience with Laravel and PHP

  • Confident working with MySQL and APIs
  • Comfortable working within existing codebases
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Livewire, Vue, or similar
  • Exposure to Twilio or communication platforms
  • Experience with automation or queue-based systems
  • Interest in AI tools or system-driven development

Working Setup

  • Based in Liverpool office (with some flexibility)
  • 9-5 working hours (flexible approach)
  • Must be UK-based with right to work
