Job description
We are looking for an organised and motivated administrator to provide high-quality support to Social Care/ Early Help workers and managers within our service., * Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team, including handling enquiries by phone and email, preparing documents and maintaining accurate records.
- Use Liquidlogic to input, update and retrieve case information, ensuring data is accurate, timely and handled confidentially.
- Use Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel, to produce letters, reports, spreadsheets and maintain tracking systems.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information in line with Council policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, partners and members of the public, responding politely and professionally to enquiries.
- provide occasional reception cover to support service delivery as and when needed.
Requirements
- Recent administrative experience in a busy office environment.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer support role, particularly within a local authority or public sector environment, is desirable but not essential
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to respond politely and patiently to service users
- Experience of working with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, to produce, update and maintain a range of documents and spreadsheets
- The ability to manage competing priorities and maintain attention to detail.
- An understanding of the need for confidentiality when dealing with service user information.
- Experience of using Liquidlogic, or the ability to learn new IT systems quickly
