Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide comprehensive support and troubleshooting services to our vending clients. The successful candidate will play a vital role in resolving technical issues, support customers and ensuring optimal system performance. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic team, utilising a broad range of technical skills across various operating systems and network environments., * Provide expert-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues across diverse platform of vending machines.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computer hardware, operating systems, software applications, and network connectivity such as LAN, VPN, firewall, and DNS configurations.
  • Assist end-users via help desk channels, ensuring prompt resolution of problems while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory and other identity management tools.
  • Document support activities using ticketing systems, ensuring accurate records for future reference. Requirements .

Requirements

Do you have experience in VPN?, * Strong knowledge of computer networking, including protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across various platforms using tools like Microsoft Office applications and specialised diagnostic utilities.
  • Experience supporting hardware components such as computers, peripherals, and network devices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem resolution combined with excellent customer service skills, making it ideal for candidates passionate about IT support and technology solutions in a fast-paced environment.
