Job description
Our client based in Poole has a requirement for a Data Support Assistant on a temporary basis over the summer. The main purpose of the role is to carry out the end-to-end processing, maintenance and archiving of operations data, including pre-processing data quality checks, and produce tracking and statistical data for the associated workflows., * Undertake data quality checks and processing of operations data - including reconciliation of volumes, timely content queries, corrections and inputs, filing and archiving - both digital and physical.
- Manage queries and support requests received into the team through Outlook and other means: triaging for relevance, providing tactical resolution or allocating to the appropriate recipient (based on expertise and capacity), and tracking through to completion. Ensure support requests use the appropriate channel.
- Maintain Operations data workflow tracking, delivering regular reporting on discrepancies and issues, and in year processing progress to completion against forecast and actual demand.
- Maintain operational data quality levels against recurrent issues - undertaking corrections form regular checks, liaising with operations teams to troubleshoot and clarify resolutions and promote best practice.
- Support the training and deployment of additional temporary ad-hoc admin support during periods of high demand.
- Assist the team with the preparation of training and presentation materials.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement through active use of knowledge and expertise to support and drive efficiencies and effective working through change.
- Deputise for the Data Quality Analysts as and when appropriate.
- Support and engage with ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
- Data organisation, throughputs, and quality assurance.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Experience with using databases
- Good attention to detail with both numeric data and written information
- Good communication skills with an ability to convey information clearly and concisely
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, while demonstrating independent initiative
- A flexible approach - well organised and able to prioritise tasks

Hourly Rate - £13.45 per hour
Hours Per week - 37 hours (Mon to Fri - 09:00 am till 17:00 pm)
