Job description
As our Finance, Information and Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the effective running of MySkinDoctor. Reporting to the Chief People, Quality & Compliance Officer, you will help ensure that the business has accurate, timely and meaningful financial, operational and performance information to support day-to-day management and strategic decision-making.
This is a cross-functional role combining financial administration, management information, data quality, reporting and business insight. You will take ownership of routine reporting, KPI assurance, performance pack preparation and the capture and presentation of management information across the business.
You will work closely with operational, clinical and leadership colleagues to turn data into clear insight, strengthen reporting discipline and support a culture of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement., * Support the production and integrity of regular management information, ensuring KPI, operational and financial data is accurate, complete and reported in a timely manner.
- Develop, maintain and improve routine dashboards, scorecards and reports covering operational activity, clinician productivity, service performance and business trends.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports for the Chief People, Quality & Compliance Officer, Executive Team and Board, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, exceptions and areas requiring action.
- Help coordinate the capture, validation and presentation of management information across departments so that reporting is consistent and decision-useful.
- Work with colleagues to improve data quality, reporting processes and internal controls, identifying gaps, anomalies and opportunities to strengthen accuracy and efficiency.
- Support by preparing information packs, summaries and analysis for operational meetings, performance reviews and business planning.
- Translate complex data into clear, practical insight that supports informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Assist in monitoring performance against internal targets, contractual KPIs and productivity expectations, escalating concerns or inconsistencies where appropriate.
- Coordinate and support core financial administration processes, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping support and the preparation of payroll information for the external payroll provider.
- Use Xero and Excel to support forecasting, budgeting and the preparation of straightforward monthly financial reports.
- Maintain strong data management and confidentiality standards, ensuring information is handled securely and professionally at all times.
- Contribute to the development of more efficient reporting tools, templates and processes to reduce manual effort and improve operational visibility across the business.
Requirements
- Experience in a finance, management information, business reporting or analytical role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful trends, risks and opportunities.
- Experience of bookkeeping or finance administration, including familiarity with accounts processes and payroll inputs.
- Good working knowledge of Xero, Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience producing dashboards, KPI reports, management information or performance summaries for senior leaders.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver accurate work to deadline.
- A high level of attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data quality and information handling.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a straightforward and useful way.
- A proactive and improvement-focused mindset, with the confidence to question data, spot issues and help strengthen processes.
- Experience in healthcare, regulated services or a multi-disciplinary operational environment would be advantageous, but is not essential.
