Job description

You will help maximize the sustainable growth of our Energy Storage, Hybrid solutions and Service business by working with a dedicated team where you will help coordinate, support, and implement Connectivity solutions for Power Technique products.

Within a cross-functional team you will explore new means, technology and application based and develop new solutions to ensure the possibility to remotely monitor and communicate 2-way with machines and provide better visibility, understanding and performance on the active fleet and service-related activities.

You will be able to work independently on your deliverables and be part of ad-hoc project work, linking with colleagues from other divisions and locations. You will consolidate and translate the operational request from various Stakeholders and define the priorities (Product marketing, customers, CC, Engineering, technical support...) You will need to collect business and technical requirements, upon which you will define actions and timelines in order to validate POC and coordinate the development and deployment of these deliverables into the market.

The project will cover the entire IoT stack, hardware and firmware development, network management, OTA deployments, data validation, remote monitoring Portal development, 2-way communication functionality, testing and support and internal documentation and product release processes.

The focus will be for you to develop and support technical solutions in a very fast-moving technical environment, keeping up to date with new developments on application, technologies but also local vs global implementation challenges and strategies.

Requirements

Knowledge and experience in IoT technology

Knowledge in working in Linux & windows IoT operating systems

Knowledge in programming languages (.NET, Javascript, PLC, codesys, HMIs)

Solid understanding and competence in various controller communication protocols (Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, CANbus) & Data transmission technology such as M2M portals, APN's and IMSI profiles

Knowledge in product cybersecurity and EU CRA requirements

Ability to test and validate new developments, on functionality and generated data.

Strong communication skills to extract business requirements from different user profiles into technical developments which result in improved visibility and user experience.

Basic knowledge in data analysis would be valuable

Bachelor/ Master's degree in Electronics or telecommunication Engineering, special focus on electrical engineering is a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with different stakeholders, Flexible to travel
