Lead Infrastructure manager

You will take end-to-end responsibility for our infrastructure, combining technical depth with leadership and execution.

• Own Linux server environments (Ubuntu, RHEL/CentOS) across physical and virtualised systems
• Lead a team of 5 (infra, network/firewall, Kubernetes, DBA)
• Manage networking and firewall architecture (TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, security)
• Oversee Kubernetes and containerised platforms
• Define and deliver the infrastructure roadmap aligned to business growth
• Lead hardware upgrades, capacity planning, and performance optimisation
• Own change control processes and ensure operational discipline
• Drive security, system hardening, and resilience across the estate
• Manage KVM virtualisation and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Implement monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery strategies

• 5+ years in Linux infrastructure or systems engineering
• Strong experience across networking, firewalls, and security
• Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes / container platforms
• Proven experience managing infrastructure environments end-to-end
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers (or ready to step up)
• Strong understanding of change control, uptime, and operational reliability
• Ability to operate hands-on while owning strategy and delivery
