Job description

We are seeking an experienced Services Conversion Developer with strong expertise in RESTful services and .NET technologies to support a critical FICS Upgrade project. The ideal candidate will play a key role in converting legacy services into modern REST-based APIs and contributing to the successful delivery of the upgrade initiative., Analyze existing legacy services and design strategies for conversion to RESTful APIs Develop, test, and deploy scalable REST services using .NET technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration Participate in the FICS upgrade process, ensuring minimal disruption and high performance Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and deployment phases Maintain clear documentation for all developed services and processes

Requirements

Strong experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, Web API) Proven expertise in designing and developing RESTful services Experience with service migration or legacy system modernization Good understanding of API security, performance optimization, and best practices Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience with FICS or similar financial/insurance systems Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) Experience working in onsite client environments Additional Information: This is a full-time onsite role based in Basildon, UK Immediate or short notice candidates are preferred
