Job description
- Manage daily operations of Wi-Fi networks using HPE Aruba technology.
- Oversee wired network operations based on Cisco systems.
- Maintain and evolve the DDI environment using EfficientIP solutions., * You join a multidisciplinary infrastructure team to manage the various daily operations on the Wi-Fi network based on HPE Aruba (adding/removing APs, security management, statistics, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.)
- You take on the strategy and evolution activities of the Wi-Fi network
- You manage the various daily operations on the wired network based on Cisco
- You are also responsible for maintaining, operating, and evolving the DDI environment (DNS/DHCP/IPAM) based on the EfficientIP platform
- You are the recognized interface for external experts and ensure a role of advice, assistance, information, training, and alert.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in IT or telecommunications with 6+ years of network experience.
- Strong expertise in wired and Wi-Fi network engineering.
- Proficient in DNS/DHCP and IP management tools., You hold a Bachelor's degree in technical computer science or telecommunications, or an equivalent qualification
- You demonstrate solid expertise in wired and/or Wi-Fi network engineering, with at least 6 years of experience as a specialist on a medium or large network (>250 active nodes). You are motivated to develop your expertise in both areas
- You are comfortable with DNS/DHCP environments and IP address management tools, and are motivated to develop your expertise on the subject
- You are comfortable speaking and writing in French and have good knowledge of technical English (spoken and written)
- You show great open-mindedness to adapt to the various constraints of a university hospital such as CHUV
- Cisco CCNP or HPE Aruba certifications would be desirable.

About the company
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Information Systems Department (ISD) is organized according to standard information technology processes. It includes the following groups: Projects, Applications, Infrastructure, and Services. This position is attached to the "Network, Telecom and Datacenter" team of the Infrastructure group.
CHUV has a large computer network with nearly 60,000 ports, consisting of a LAN/MAN covering more than 50 buildings in Lausanne and a WAN of 40 sites spread across the canton of Vaud. All sites also have complete Wi-Fi coverage. The network is highly redundant to provide a highly available base for the information system necessary for the hospital's many professions.
