Job description

We're looking for a Senior IT Engineer to join our team and support us on our journey. This role is varied and hands-on - you'll work with a wide range of technologies, supporting clients on everything from Microsoft Office apps to network issues. You'll also get the chance to lead projects and mentor junior team members.

You'll mainly handle 2nd and 3rd line support via phone, email and on-site visits, helping to solve problems and keep our clients running smoothly., * Handle IT support tickets quickly and professionally.

  • Accurately log calls, emails and updates in our system.
  • Escalate issues when needed.
  • Support users day-to-day, including setting up PCs, laptops and tablets.
  • Manage Active Directory, Windows Servers, Office 365, routers, anti-virus and more.
  • Help manage accounts and client relationships.
  • Lead a team of engineers and provide guidance.
  • Stay up to date with new tech, complete certifications, and sometimes work on projects or out-of-hours support.

Requirements

  • Someone with at least 3 years of experience in an IT MSP environment.
  • A good communicator who can explain tech clearly to non-technical people.
  • Professional, positive and focused on top-notch customer service.
  • Holds industry certifications (like CompTIA, MCP, or MCSE) and is familiar with common MSP tools., * Strong experience with Windows, Office 365 and networking (TCP/IP, switches, routers).
  • Knowledge of backups, cybersecurity and anti-virus tools.
  • Full UK driving licence and own car.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Comfortable with occasional overtime, weekend work or being on-call., We'd love to hear from you if you have the experience and want to grow with a thriving MSP.

Benefits & conditions

  • £34,000 - £38,000 per annum
  • Full-time, permanent position (employed or contractor).
  • Monday to Friday, plus overtime when needed.
