Technical Solutions Specialist

• Develop, build and maintain multiple core network Test Environments
• Engage with project teams - driving the Design, Build, Test and Delivery of new fixed and mobile services or improvements to existing services.
• Drive effective incident, change, problem, risk, and vulnerability management.
• Drive and maintain alignment of the Test Environments with the live EE network
• Champion and drive continuous improvement for the service that we offer to our key stakeholders - Test, Design and Operations.
• Work co-operatively with other business communities and 3rd parties to improve service performance, quality, and customer experience.

• Technology design - You partner with the business to understand and analyse user requirements and inform the architecture design for software, systems and networks.
• Product and service knowledge - You demonstrate subject matter expertise in complex, technical infrastructure, products and services. You develop bespoke solutions to meet short, medium and long-term customer needs.Be agile - You identify opportunities to use collaborative approaches and continuous improvement. You contribute to projects as a subject matter expert or content owner.

Experience:

Mandatory:

• Significant track record of mobile telecoms support and/or technology/networking roles
• Strong knowledge of mobile network protocols including SIP, diameter, SS7, radius and AAA
• Significant experience of vendors in the mobile stack ie Ericsson and Nokia. Experience with CSCF, MTAS, IPWorks ENUM, SBG and BGF would be highly desirable.
• Excellent understanding of IP routing protocols.
• Experience of Openstack, Kubernetes, VMWare and other cloud technologies

Preferred:

• Experience of OSS tools and systems
• Experience in using Tracing tools e.g., Wireshark, NetScout
• Network Function Virtualisation, VMWare stack
• Demonstrable experience of coding and automation for CI/CD Pi peline
