Data Engineer

• Design and build SQL databases from scratch, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
• Develop and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines to ingest data from APIs, EDI systems, and other external sources
• Structure and optimise data models to support reporting, analytics, and operational use cases
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all systems
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure
• Document data architecture and processes clearly

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident working both independently and as part of a wider team.

You will play a key role in shaping how data is collected, structured, and used across the business, with a strong focus on integrating multiple data sources including APIs and EDI systems., * 2+ years experience as a Data Engineer or similar role

• Strong expertise in SQL and database design
• Experience building databases and data pipelines from scratch
• Hands on experience working with APIs and EDI integrations
• Solid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and transformation techniques
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
• Comfortable collaborating within a cross functional team

• Experience working in a fast paced, high growth environment

Desirable Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of data visualisation tools and downstream analytics use cases
• Experience in ecommerce or DTC environments
