Job description

The Glen Dimplex Group IT team is responsible for the optimization of live IT solutions and the delivery of new technologies across the Glen Dimplex global subsidiaries. 40% of Glen Dimplex subsidiaries operate SAP S/4Hana as their core ERP system. This role will be involved in optimising the existing SAP S/4Hana landscape and the future rollout of SAP S/4Hana to subsidiaries currently operating legacy ERP systems.

This is an exciting and varied role, where you will be working alongside a diverse team of technical consultants, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders across the wider business. You will also be interfacing with senior management, business partners and SMEs on a regular basis., * Manage requirements gathering and solution design with both business and technical audience.

  • Capture and translate business requirements into technical design and a working solution.

  • Perform configuration for Materials Management processes working with other team members to ensure integration with other modules in the SAP S/4Hana landscape.

  • Provide business process design and documentation expertise, recommend business process and/or system improvements using formal and informal techniques. Lead the development and implementation of these improvements/ new processes.

  • Produce high quality functional specification documents and work closely with the SAP S/4Hana development team throughout the development process.

  • Serve as an expert on Materials Management processes and best practices in SAP S/4Hana.

  • Identify areas of continuous improvement to maximise business benefit of the SAP S/4Hana solution

  • Support the handover of new enhancements and projects to the end user, support user acceptance testing, perform training and develop training documentation.

  • Support the data migration & cutover activities of projects for Materials Management.

  • Serve as an escalation point for production issues.

  • Lead the testing of SAP S/4Hana MM enhancements and projects, including functional unit testing, system integration testing and supporting user acceptance testing.

Requirements

  • 6 to 8 years' working with SAP (preferably SAP S/4Hana) Materials Management module.
  • Holds an SAP MM certification and is skilled at SAP MM module configuration and writing functional specification documentation for developments.
  • Holds a strong understanding of Data required to support Materials Management processes.
  • Possesses strong process knowledge in Materials Management.
  • Experience with SAP EWM preferred but not essential.
  • Can identify and analyse problems, recognise potential improvements, propose, and implement solutions.
  • Comfortable presenting on a 1:1 basis and to groups.
  • Self-motivated, dynamic, and results-driven.
  • Team player, comfortable with all levels in an organisation
  • Thrives on challenge and change.
  • Attention to detail without losing bigger picture.
  • Ability to deliver under pressure.
