The Corporate IT Support Specialist serves as the primary technical point of contact for the corporate office, ensuring the seamless alignment of technology resources with business objectives. Reporting directly to the Vice President, this role is responsible for the full employee technology lifecycle-from initial hardware provisioning to ongoing systems optimization. A key focus of this position is facilitating organizational change through the strategic migration of legacy systems to modern enterprise solutions., * Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of corporate hardware assets (laptops, mobile devices, peripherals), including procurement, standardized imaging, and secure decommissioning.Coordinate the technical onboarding of new hires to ensure immediate productivity upon start dates.
- Administer user access controls and permissions in accordance with company security policies and compliance standards.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and related peripherals.Install, update and support operating systems and standard applications on Windows and macOS platforms.
- Provide Tier 1-2 technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and escalate to the VP or vendors as appropriate.
- Support planning, testing and execution of system migrations (for example, email/platform migrations or cloud/on-prem migration), including data transfer, cutover tasks and post-migration support.
- Provides data-driven recommendations for system improvements and scalability.
- Create, maintain and update system images, configuration standards, runbooks and technical documentation.
- Implement and maintain endpoint security best practices in coordination with IT leadership. Ensure data integrity and security during all phases of system implementation and integration.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders for procurement, warranty support and technical escalations.
- Maintain accurate asset inventory and produce routine reports related to device status and compliance.
- Provide user training and guidance on new systems, tools and security procedures.
- Participate in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives; perform after-hours work as required for migrations or emergency support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, * Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support or systems/device administration in a corporate setting.
- Demonstrated experience with device deployment and management, imaging, and MDM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Jamf, VMware Workspace ONE).
- Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS administration; familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace preferred.
- Prior experience participating in IT migration or change management projects
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site during standard business hours and flexibility for occasional after-hours work.
