Job description

Flex and Installments are key for modernizing credential capability enabling new income streams new entrants for faster distribution and accomplishing top of wallet status for issuers. This SPM will help drive global change to support market initiatives delivering consistently to unlock new payment volume aligned to strategic growth imperatives. This individual will work closely with various teams across Product Development, Strategy, GTM, Data Technology, Finance, Regions, Rules, Risk and more to define and deliver accelerated sales use cases and solutions in alignment with growth levers. The team supports alignment and provides narrative, tooling and executional streamlining across all of Visas 5 regions directly owning leading and executing key cross functional initiatives that are top management priorities.

This role is global and will need to balance regional and global opportunities to achieve overall solution and platform objectives. Accomplishing this will require ability to influence and collaborate across a complex and highly matrixed organization and provide leadership and clear vision to direct and indirect teams., * Work cross-functionally to define and align on product roadmap and strategy.

  • Define and document functional and technical requirements for new products and features
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, UX design, data science, and risk teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant product delivery
  • Champion agile methodologies across cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions efficiently.
  • Integrate risk, compliance, and security considerations into product development and lifecycle management.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for monitoring product performance and compliance.
  • Support new product development, go-to-market planning, and global rollout coordination.
  • Develop executive-level communications and materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Work closely with regional product teams to ensure global strategies are actionable and locally relevant.
  • Contribute to product planning, strategy cycles, and major internal or client-facing events.

This is a hybrid position.Expectationofdays intheoffice will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, * 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical or engineering field such as industrial engineering, systems engineering, engineering management, computer science, software engineering, or product design
  • 6 + years of experience in product management, technology product development, or a related field.
  • Experience and comfort adapting to work on different types of products (data, B2C, APIs)
  • Experience leading and managing complex, cross-functional technical projects.
  • Superior strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor and attention to detail.
  • Strong technical literacy, ability to work closely with engineering and technical teams.
  • Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior stakeholders and external business partners.
  • Proactive self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and adaptable, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments, financial services, or technology sectors.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 169,100.00 to 270,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
