DCN Systems Administrators (CA and WA)

Join a dynamic team supporting a complex, multi-site IT infrastructure across the U.S., anchored by Red Hat Linux-based High-Performance Computing Clusters. Our environment integrates tools like Cadence, Atlassian, DOORS, GitHub, and includes both Windows PCs and thin clients. Future plans include incorporating Wind River's VxWorks embedded Linux., * Implement secure system designs using best practices in software and systems engineering.

• Provide end-to-end IT support in secure lab environments, from desktops to servers.
• Manage system access, patching, and release planning for hardware/software.
• Support classified networks and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Administer and maintain Linux and Windows systems, including virtualized environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; automate tasks using scripting (e.g., PowerShell).
• Integrate and maintain applications and infrastructure in accordance with RMF/JSIG standards.

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (MD Customer)
• CI Poly within the last 5 years
• 9+ years of experience in lab/test environments and classified networks.
• Strong background in Linux and Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with IT hardware, networking equipment, and HPC systems.
• Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)., * Deep experience with Linux (RHEL), Windows Server/Desktop, VMware, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with GPOs, scripting (PowerShell), and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with system backups, patching, and COTS software.
• Knowledge of RMF/JSIG compliance and secure system integration.
