Job description
Develop Integrated Solution designs to support Company sales and management with solicitation of engineered integrated product solutions and pallet rack. Participate in customer site reviews and work with branch sales, national accounts sales, vendors, sales coordinators, project managers, and Sales Manager of Integrated Solutions. Lead customer site reviews and work with branch sales, national accounts sales, vendors and sales coordinators.
Responsibilities
Application Review
Lead indentifcation, logging and tracking of complex customer integrated solutions projects. Collect, review, document, and assemble customer operational data and requests including but not limited to inventory flow, velocity, identification, specifications, hours of operation, operational shifts, personnel, warehouse management software, storage, assembly, and manufacturing processes. Review safety, performance, and industry standards of engineered products to ensure alignment with customer objectives.
Layout, Design, and Verify Integrated Solutions Proposals
Work with Warehouse Solutions Project Designers to develop preliminary integrated solutions designs incorporating but not limited to Vertical Lift Modules, Pallet Shuttles, Powered Conveyance, Pallet Rack, and other value add products and systems. Define and assemble engineering preliminary calculations and vendor Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation to aid sales staff and management with solicitation of engineered product solutions and pallet rack.
Review, Validate, and Communicate Integrated Solutions Orders
Work with Warehouse Solutions designers to develop preliminary integrated solutions designs.
Requirements
8-15 years related experience
Bachelor's degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering)
Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
Extensive travel (over 20%)
Extensive overnight stays (over 20%)
Job requires employee to drive a lift truck, Experience supporting automation, racking, or integreated material handling solutions in a multi-branch or enterprise environment. Familiar with the material handling industry. Knowledge of Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems and powered unitzed conveyance. Experience with shuttle systems, Company rack, slective reacking and fixed automation.
