Job description

  • Install, maintain, and administer Oracle's WebLogic Application Server in a multi-domain environment.
  • Manage application administration and maintenance in Linux/UNIX (Solaris 10+) environments, including shell script development and debugging.
  • Utilize AWS to manage applications in a cloud environment, leveraging tools such as AWS CLI, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Configure and manage JBOSS AS and Java applications.
  • Implement and maintain PKI solutions.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of applications through robust network technologies and protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex application issues.
  • Provide expert guidance and support for ITSM processes.
  • Maintain and upgrade various Windows OS releases as needed.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda.

Requirements

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced Applications Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in information systems, with a specific focus on application administration. This role requires deep expertise in RedHat (RHEL), Oracle's WebLogic Application Server, and Linux/UNIX (Solaris 10+) environments. The candidate must be well-versed in AWS cloud management, JBOSS AS, Java, and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)., * TS/SCI clearance

  • Education and/or Experience:
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in information systems with a specific focus on application administration.
  • 5 - 7 years of direct experience with installing, maintaining, and administering Oracle's WebLogic Application Server.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience with application administration and maintenance in a Linux/UNIX (Solaris 10+) environment.
  • Expert Working Knowledge:
  • Network technologies and protocols.
  • Installation and configuration of JAVA.
  • Installing and administering Oracle's WebLogic application server in a multi-domain environment.
  • Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge and experience with ITSM.
  • Experience with various Windows OS releases.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and tools such as AWS CLI, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
  • Familiarity with cloud serverless technologies such as Lambda.
  • Certifications:
  • Security+
  • RHEL/Linux certification
  • AWS/Azure SysOps Admin
  • Cloud Practitioner certification

The proposed salary range for this position is: $86,600 - $181,800
