Job description

This position is responsible for overseeing and providing analytics, information and supports for the Provider Network teams to move forward both day-to-day activities, as well as departmental or corporate initiatives and compliance activities.

What You'll Do

  • Network Adequacy tracking and reporting
  • Network Expansion projects
  • Overall Regulatory Compliance monitoring and implementations, with heavy emphasis on Behavioral Health requirements
  • Represent the Provider Network team in cross-departmental workgroups internally, and externally, as needed.
  • Collaborate across Network teams to support regulatory contract requests
  • Quarterly HPN review and response
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership .

Requirements

  • Education, Licensures, & Certifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable combination of education and related work experience required.
  • Years of Experience (Required & Preferred)
  • Three to Five Years' work experience in analytical and regulatory environment with problem solving skills
  • Required Job Skills
  • Experience or knowledge in Provider Network and regulatory requirements across various lines of business (Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid)
  • Strong organizational, time management, oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to read and interpret regulatory documentation and identify steps needed for compliance and/or implementation of State and Federal mandates for Physical and Behavioral Health Provider Networks.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet deadlines; internal and regulatory
  • Must have a high degree of personal initiative and able to work independently
  • Knowledge of the components of both Provider Service Agreements (PSAs), and Behavioral Health IPA/PO contracts.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and excel, including querying and reporting.
  • Ability to organize and present data effectively, detail oriented
  • Excellent computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Access
  • Must have reliable transportation, willing to travel occasionally throughout MVP's service areas, with overnights as required.
  • Preferred Job Skills
  • Experience communicating externally with regulatory entities, including but not limited to the New York State Department of Health, Department of Financial Services, CMS, and across state lines.
  • Must be self organized and disciplined, a self starter understanding workflow, processes and due dates.
