Job description
The VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the planning, deployment, management and operation of the infrastructure components of the base/baseline VCF solution. This includes vSphere, vSAN, VLAN backed networks, and OVA appliances including SDDC Manager, vCenters, NSX Managers, Edge Clusters, Aria Automation, Aria Operations, and Aria Operations for Logs.

Lead customer consulting projects focused on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) private cloud solutions, guiding them to successful outcomes as a subject matter expert (SME).

Collaborate with clients to identify VCF opportunities.?

Plan, Deploy, Manage and Operate VMware Cloud Foundation. Ability to design and size infrastructure for the management components and for workload domains in preparing for VCF planning, designing and deployment of the physical network.

8+ year's experience implementing and configuring vSphere environments.

Experience designing, deploying and configuration of NSX and NSX migrations.? Should have experience with microsegmentation.

Experience designing, deploying and configuring data center networks or implementing/troubleshooting networking solutions involving LANs, VLANs, WANs, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Assess existing IT environments to provide strategies for VCF consumption.

Design, deploy and implementation of VMware vSAN clusters in a vSphere environment.

Hands-on installation and configuration knowledge of Aria Operations, especially with dashboards and alerts, and Log Insight
