Job description
- Support cybersecurity governance, policies, risk assessments, and compliance efforts (e.g., CMMC, NIST)
- Monitor and respond to security events across Microsoft Defender, Azure, identity platforms, and network systems
- Partner with Arctic Wolf (MDR) to investigate alerts, coordinate incident response, and improve detection processes
- Implement and manage security solutions across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network environments
- Serve as a security SME; mentor IT staff and promote best practices
- Contribute to security architecture, tool evaluation, and long-term security strategy
Requirements
Do you have experience in Risk management?, * 7+ years in cybersecurity or information security
- Experience with security operations, incident response, and risk management
- Familiarity with Microsoft security ecosystem (Defender, Azure, Entra ID)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience working with MDR/SOC providers (e.g., Arctic Wolf)
- Experience with Okta, Fortinet, Cisco environments preferred.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust and cloud security best practices preferred.
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+, AZ-500, CEH) preferred.
