Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

• Support cybersecurity governance, policies, risk assessments, and compliance efforts (e.g., CMMC, NIST)
• Monitor and respond to security events across Microsoft Defender, Azure, identity platforms, and network systems
• Partner with Arctic Wolf (MDR) to investigate alerts, coordinate incident response, and improve detection processes
• Implement and manage security solutions across cloud, endpoint, identity, and network environments
• Serve as a security SME; mentor IT staff and promote best practices
• Contribute to security architecture, tool evaluation, and long-term security strategy

Do you have experience in Risk management?, * 7+ years in cybersecurity or information security

• Experience with security operations, incident response, and risk management
• Familiarity with Microsoft security ecosystem (Defender, Azure, Entra ID)
• Experience with compliance frameworks (CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience working with MDR/SOC providers (e.g., Arctic Wolf)
• Experience with Okta, Fortinet, Cisco environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust and cloud security best practices preferred.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+, AZ-500, CEH) preferred.
