Job description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Site Security Analyst to join our team in Cherry Point, NC. This is an onsite position protecting our nation's most sensitive programs. The Special Access Programs (SAPs) and secure facility operations demand rigorous oversight to ensure the operational integrity and classified information protection at one of the Marine Corps' premier aviation units., * Operating CCTV systems, alarms, and access control panels to detect unauthorized activity.
- Conducting regular facility inspections and "safety walks" to identify vulnerabilities or maintenance needs for security equipment.
- Responding to emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement, and documenting incidents in detailed reports.
- Developing and implementing local security protocols to ensure the site follows corporate or government regulations, such as NISPOM or ICD 705.
- Administering security briefings and debriefings and assisting with the security clearance process for employees.
- Supporting emergency response drills, safeguarding classified materials, and enhancing overall readiness.
- Assisting the PSO and Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO) in maintaining secure daily operations and supporting the Information System Security Manager as requested.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience, or Associate's degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
- Excellent organizational and investigative skills.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct regular facility inspections and safety walks to identify vulnerabilities.
- Experience operating physical security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control panels.
- Familiarity with local security protocols and government regulations such as NISPOM or ICD 705., * Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
- Active security certification, such as Security+ or CASP.
- Previous experience supporting Special Access Programs (SAPs) or functioning within a secure facility operations environment.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and have a current/active TS/SCI clearance.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
