We are collaborating with leading companies in Whitehall seeking experienced IT Systems Administrators to drive results., * Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production-critical applications like ERP, MES, and SCADA.
- Implement and manage comprehensive data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans for manufacturing data.
- Administer and secure network infrastructure, including industrial networks (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet) and wireless systems.
- Provide rapid troubleshooting and technical support for IT and OT systems to minimize production downtime.
- Develop, implement, and monitor cybersecurity measures for both corporate IT and operational technology (OT) environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact production.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and vendors on the integration and optimization of new industrial technologies.
Requirements
- Experience managing Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in network administration, including firewalls, VPNs, and industrial network protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to support and integrate manufacturing-specific systems such as SCADA, MES, or ERP platforms.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for critical infrastructure environments.
- Proven experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions to minimize production downtime.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems (SCADA, MES, PLCs).
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP).
- Understanding of IT/OT convergence and cybersecurity principles in manufacturing environments.
- Experience with manufacturing-specific ERP modules (e.g., SAP PP, Oracle Manufacturing).
