Job description

  • Design, validate, and implement scalable system architectures including servers, databases, and network infrastructure.
  • Evaluate complex systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency improvements.
  • Define architectural standards, frameworks, and technical design approaches.
  • Develop and document hardware and network infrastructure configurations.
  • Support automation through scripting and system optimization.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and performance.
  • Provide technical oversight during implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
  • Analyze legacy environments and recommend modernization strategies to improve system performance and maintainability.
  • Support capacity planning, disaster recovery, continuity, and lifecycle management considerations within solution designs.
  • Prepare and maintain architecture diagrams, technical roadmaps, engineering artifacts, and supporting documentation.
  • Present technical solutions and recommendations to internal leadership, customers, and external stakeholders.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and government standards relevant to infrastructure and systems architecture.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, and cost reduction across system environments.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing and architectural best practices.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System design?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * 12+ years of experience designing enterprise or defense system architectures.

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, and system integration.
  • Ability to translate requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a plus.
  • Strong commitment to going the extra mile for customers, partners, and their missions.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work both independently and as an integral part of a dynamic team, assuming leadership responsibilities when needed.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, for documentation, collaboration, and reporting.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline (experience may be considered in lieu of formal education).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Active Secret Clearance, with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI.
