Job description
As a GIS Analyst, your work will support both day-to-day GIS operations and the development of scalable mapping solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting GIS data creation, editing, and maintenance for utility and infrastructure projects
- Assisting with map production, spatial analysis, and data validation using ArcGIS tools
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of web-based GIS applications and dashboards (mid-level focus)
- Working within enterprise GIS environments to support data integration and system performance
- Collaborating with internal teams to support both field and office GIS needs, while maintaining organized geospatial records and documentation
- Providing general GIS support, including data collection, quality control, and process improvements
Requirements
Do you have experience in GIS software?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, We are seeking motivated professionals with strong technical skills and attention to detail. Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 1-5 years of GIS experience (internships/co-ops considered for junior candidates)
- Experience with ArcGIS (ArcMap and/or ArcGIS Pro), with enterprise and web mapping experience expected at the mid-level
- Exposure to utility, infrastructure, or environmental projects preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, * GIS certifications or relevant academic coursework
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, web mapping applications, or ArcGIS Indoors
- Familiarity with geodatabases, scripting (Python/JavaScript), or enterprise GIS environments
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Benefits & conditions
- $25.00/hr - $30.00/hr (Junior Level)
- $80,000 - $100,000 annually (Mid-Level)
